Over the past 12 days I have been traveling to England aka home away from home and Norway aka the old country to teach BJJ seminars and also to promote practitioners to blue, purple and brown belts.
I started over in merry old England on November 22nd.
My first stop in England was with Jimmy Georgiou at Gracie jiu jitsu UK. A Pedro Sauer affiliate.
With Jimmy I taught class and promoted 4 of his guys to blue belts.
My next stop was with my UK family Robin and Peter at Team Pedro Sauer UK which I have been training with for the past decade or so.
With them I taught a few classes and tested and promoted 4 blue belts and 2 purple belts, Brett and Andy.
Both passed with flying colors.
I thought a seminar where the focus was on the side control and submissions and getting caught in ¼ guard and how to deal with that position.
There were around 30 people on the mats.
November 30th. I headed out to the old country, Norway.
My trip started at Moss jiu jitsu, a Pedro Sauer affiliate where I taught a class of probably 30 people from Moss and Heat Halden which is also a Pedro Sauer affiliate.
On Friday I tested Halden head instructor, Daniel, to brown belt. A belt that has been long overdue.
Saturday morning I also tested one of Halden's blue belts, Markus, to purple belt.
Both Daniel and Markus did outstanding tests.
Looking forward to my next trips to England and Norway
