Bill Jones seminar

This past weekend we had the honor of having Bill Jones 3 degree black belt from Top level martial arts to hold a seminar her in Iceland.

We also got Team Pedro Sauer UK showing up for the seminar lead by the dynamic duo Robin French and Peter Squire.

On Friday afternoon Bill oversaw testing for Jose Soares Neto who tested for his black belt and passed with flying colors.

Along with Jose, Bill Long from Team Pedro Sauer UK, tested for his brown belt in jiu jitsu and also passes with flying colors.

In whole there were 3 two hour sessions. Friday was a nogi sessions and the two on Saturday were gi sessions. Most of the time was focused on being stuck in side control and kesa gateme.

During the sessions Bill also had us do some live rolling so keep us fresh and see if we came up with some questions on the topic or anything else jiu jitsu related.

And of course when we get visitors from abroad there´s bunch of trips to the hot tubs of Iceland.

On Sunday we did a light open mat in the morning and in the afternoon there was a whale watching trip with Rib adventures (ribadventures.is) where we had the most amazing trip.

Overall this weekend was a blast.
